Bro. and Mrs. Dayne Hawks
David (Katana) Hawks, Doug Hawks and Donna (Terry) Sturdivant wish to invite you to a celebration of their parents’ 60 years of marriage.
Dayne and Monema Hawks were married June 24, 1950, in the home of Leon Penick. Except for short stays in Chicago and Paducah, they have lived in Weakley County. Brother Hawks, a retired Baptist minister and Modern Woodmen of the World agent, enjoys gardening, meeting new people and playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Monema, a retired garment factory employee, enjoys playing the piano, working puzzles, meeting old friends and playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
They celebrated an early anniversary by enjoying a trip to Branson, Mo., in May.
The couple will be honored at the Sharon Senior Citizen Center from 2-4 p.m., June 27. Come join the celebration. No gifts please.Published in the Press 6-22-10
