Miss Grissom to wed Mullis on July 17 Posted: Tuesday, June 22, 2010 8:01 pm The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Kayla Jo Grissom of Cayce, Ky., and Corey Lee Mullis of Hickman, Ky., are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Angela (Grissom) Johnson of Troy. She is the granddaughter of Billy Wayne and Donna Liliker of Cayce and Ronnie Grissom of South Fulton. Her great-grandparents are Mozelle Liliker and the late Billy Liliker of Cayce and Harold and Blondel Grissom and the late Alvy and Beulah Campbell, all of Fulton. She is a 2004 graduate of Fulton City High School and a 2008 graduate of Murray (Ky.) State University. The groom-elect is the son of Charlene Mullis and Jeff Smith, both of Hickman. He is the grandson of Judy Mullis of Mayfield, Ky., and Johnny Mullis of Georgia. His great-grandmother is the late Lottie Johnson of Michigan. He is a 2005 graduate of Fulton County (Ky.) High School. He is employed by Everett Farms. The couple will wed at 2 p.m. July 17 at Cayce Baptist Church in Cayce. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. All friends and family are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
