Milburn W. Winsett

Milburn W. Winsett, 87, of Martin, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Volunteer Community Hospital, Martin.
Services were held at 11 a.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Lipe officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery.
Members of the United State Army served as pallbearers.
Winsett was born June 16, 1923, in Weakley County, son of the late Silas and Ardie Belle Patterson Winsett. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired mechanic with Tennessee National Guard after 37 years, and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie Vaughn Winsett of Martin; niece and caregiver, Mylinda Tyner of Martin; and two great-nieces, Laura Vaughn and Ellen Vaughn, both of Martin.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Winsett; one brother, Hershell Winsett; and one half-brother, Charlie Cowsert.
