Ruth (Jones) McCullough, 83, of Obion died June 18, 2010, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were 3 p.m. Sunday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with Ron Newberry officiating. Burial followed in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Obion.
Pallbearers were Brian Powers, Matt Powers, Hunter Hayes, Eugene Hudgins, Ryan McCullough, Darren McCullough and Jason McCullough. Honorary pallbearers were the Rev. Terry English, Jimmy Gatlin and Bob Anderson.
She was the daughter of the late J.E. and Dora (Tanner) Jones and was the wife of Leon McCullough, who survives.
She was a member of Troy Church of Christ and was a retired nurse who had been employed at Internal Medicine Clinic of Dyersburg and at the former Colonial Rubber Co. in Dyersburg.
Survivors also include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Susie Evans of Obion; her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Ken Powers of Dyersburg; her sister, Dorothy Harrison of Hendersonville; five grandchildren, Brian Powers of Brunswick, Ga., Lori Braese of Oklahoma City, Matt Powers of Murfreesboro, Jamie Evans of Obion and Mark Evans of Arlington, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Abigale Evans and Ellie Evans, both of Obion.
