Credit reports focus of seminar

What’s in a credit report?
A free workshop offered by Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce, the University of Tennessee at Martin Regional Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Center and Tennessee Small Business Development Center will help participants find out.
The workshop, set for July 6 from 5:30-7 p.m., will instruct participants about information in a credit report, how to read it, how to maintain a good credit report and how to repair a credit report for small business success. The session will be held at the South Fulton Municipal Complex’s Harvey O. Vick Room at 700 Milton Counce Drive.
The instructor will be Denise Newton, UT Martin TSBDC small business specialist. Her experience includes extensive financial statement analysis, portfolio analysis, strategic planning and business development. She spent 10 years as a corporate/commercial lender for various commercial banks, specializing in small business lending, structuring and financing.
