Police are seeking clues today in a late-night armed robbery at a Union City convenience store.
Little General at 2129 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City was robbed about midnight Thursday, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Two store clerks told police that a black man — wearing a black hoodie, light-colored blue jean pants or long shorts, black shoes and something black covering his face — came into the store and ordered a clerk to give him the store’s money.
The intruder was holding what appeared to be a silver revolver toward one of the clerks during the hold-up, according to the report.
After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled through doors heading around the east side of the building.
The Little General store is owned by Cox Oil Co.
