Miss Lawson to wed Gregg in August

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Julianne Marie Lawson and Bradley Jacob Gregg, both of Union City, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Homer and Julia Lawson of Union City. She is the granddaughter of Brooks and Paula Duncan of Union City, Bill Jackson of Fulton, the late Bill Lawson and Sharon Lawson of Booneville, Ind., and the late Rosie Harris of Dyersburg.
She is a 2006 graduate of Union City High School and a 2010 cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and is employed at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin as a registered nurse.
The groom-elect is the son of Rodney and Pamela Gregg of Union City. He is the grandson of Gary Mayo and the late Kay Mayo of Union City and the late Bill Gregg and Shelby Jean Gregg of Gadsden, Ala.
He is a 2006 graduate of Union City High School and a student at UTM, where he is planning to graduate in May 2011 with a bachelor of science degree in engineering with a focus in mechanical engineering. He is employed by Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, as a co-op student.
The couple will exchange vows Aug. 21 at Second Baptist Church in Union City. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the Hampton Centré in Union City.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
