Jackson Teen Theatre presents musical

The Jackson Teen Theatre will present the hit Broadway musical, “Hello, Dolly!” at the Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center June 25 at 7:30 p.m. and June 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30.
“Hello, Dolly!” is an ebullient and irresistible story of the joy of living glittering with happy songs, shining with loving scenes, alive with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage … Dolly Gallagher Levi!
Classic musical numbers include “Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” “Ribbons Down My Back,” “Before the Parade Passes By,” “Elegance — It Only Takes A Moment” and “So Long, Dearie.”
Emily Lovell plays the lead role of Dolly Levi and Robert Lambert plays Horace Vandergelder. Others supporting roles are Austin Grey as Cornelius; Garrett Henson as Barnaby; Abby Lambert as Irene Molloy; and Abbey Watt as Minnie Fay, along with a cast of 28.
Pat Alford is directing the play with help from assistant director Diann Robinson, and music director Dr. Jordan Tang and choreography by Jennifer Carroll.
Tickets are on sale at The Ned office. Matinee admission is $8 in advance and $9 at the door. Evening admission is $10 in advance and $11 at the door.
