Trailer reported stolen Posted: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 4:34 pm The Messenger, June 16, 2010 Union City police are investigating the apparent theft of a trailer from a yard on Bel Aire Circle. Steve Kemp told police Tuesday that a 16-foot four-wheel trailer was stolen sometime Monday night from where it was parked at the side of his shop beside his home at 2249 Bel Aire Circle, according to a Union City Police Department report. It was last seen there about 9 p.m. Monday. The trailer hitch was padlocked and police said it appears someone hooked to the trailer and pulled it off, going through a neighbor’s yard and heading toward Troy on Old Troy Road. The 16-foot trailer four-wheel trailer is black with black rims and has wooden sideboards and a fold-up back gate, according to the report. Anyone who has information about the theft may contact Union City police at 885-1515 or Crime Stoppers at 885-TIPS (885-8477).
