Dresden Duplicate Club 6-15

Dresden Tuesday Night Bridge Club met on the June 8 and had four tables of bridge players.  A special guest, Betty Jo Wheeler of Hickman, came with Alma Ford and greeted by all.  
     The hostesses were Kathy Chandler and JoAnn Campbell. They served an assortment of Subway sandwiches.  They were so good and fresh along with several bags of assorted chips.  They also had a Bow Tie Pasta Salad and for dessert blueberry and lemon tarts.
     Winners were 1st-JoAnn Campbell and Kathy Chandler, 2nd-Susie German and Kathy Wilson and 3rd-Alma Ford and Betty Jo Wheeler.
The Wednesday group with five tables in play. Lots of good food was served. Bertha Henry had made a casserole full of Mexican Dip.  It consisted of sour cream, salsa, avocadoes, cheese and green onions on top.  There was also cheese bars, cheese balls, cheese bread sticks, Toffee candy bars, and sliced zucchini nut bread with pineapple topping.  Our cake Lady brought fresh delicious doughnuts in lieu of a cake.
     Winners of this spectacular game were from Weakley and Obion counties. They were Sarah Pentecost, Tom Beard, Freddye Oliver, Toni Pritchett, Bertha Henry, Dot Beach, Alma Ford and Linda Jennings. Published in the Press 6-15-10
