Elsie Mae Willcutt, 75, of Michie, stepmother of Melinda Cranford of Ridgely and a former resident of Obion County, died June 11, 2010, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah.
Services were 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed in Pisgah Cemetery.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She had lived in Obion County for 18 years and enjoyed gardening, animals and gospel music.
Survivors also include four sons, Tommy Willcutt and Donny Willcutt, both of Michie, Leon Willcutt of Adamsville and Jerry Willcutt; her stepson, Robert Willcutt of Counce; two daughters, Dorothy Thacker of Michie and Katherine Harris of Counce; four other stepdaughters, Ruby Cranford of Hornsby, Brenda Sue Simkins of Bradenton, Fla., Mattie Maness of Lakeland, Fla., and Wanda Kay Johnson of Athens, Ala.; her brother, Carlos Aaron Collins of Millport, Ala.; two sisters, Margie Jenkins of Vernon, Ala., and Betty Sue Parker of Millport; and 42 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bea Willcutt; her parents, Henry Roy and Onie Bell Collins; and two brothers, Tommy Collins and Johnny Collins.
