Martin native Sabree Danner will head to Jackson next week to compete to claim the title as Miss Tennessee 2010.
A 2006 graduate of Westview High School, she currently wears the crown as Miss Fall Fest, an annual event held in Union City.
Miss Danner said she established her platform on the M and M program (Manners Matter) in order to re-educate and provide Tennesseans with tools on manners and etiquettes in a society that is too often lacking.
The 22-year-old is a fashion merchandising student at Middle Tennessee State University. Her parents are Teresa and Roy Wainscott of Martin and Robert Danner of St. Roberts, Mo.
She plans to perform a vocal talent.
The Miss Tennessee 2010 pageant begins Wednesday and continues through June 19.
The competitors will complete a series of tasks including talent and interview.
The event will be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson.
