Completed arrangements are being announced for Dr. Bill Murray, 75, of Union City, who died 6:44 a.m. June 10, 2010, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak, with the Rev. Shane Long officiating.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
He was born March 10, 1935, in Dyer County, son of the late William Parrish and Martha (Sullivan) Murray. He was a retired general practitioner and a member of First Apostolic Church in Union City, where he had served on the board of trustees and taught Bible classes.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Alan Chase of St. Louis; his son, Brad Murray of Union City; and his granddaughter, Elysse Gandy of St. Louis.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Brown) Murray, who died Aug. 7, 2007; his son, William Olanda Murray; and his brother, Steve Murray.
