Miss Day, Damons to wed June 19

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Heather Michelle Day and Joshua Brooks Damons, both of Ripley, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Day of Ripley. Her grandparents are Winnie Grimes and the late Rev. Hilton Grimes of Ripley and Daisy Aldinger and the late Curtis Day of Memphis.
She is a 2005 graduate of Ripley High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2009, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in social work.
She is employed by Professional Care Services of West Tennessee Inc. as an adult case manager.
The groom-elect is the son of Lori Damons and the late Jeffrey Damons of Union City. He is the grandson of Sammie Damons and the late W.C. Damons of South Fulton and the late Alton and Leora High of Bardwell, Ky.
He is a 2002 graduate of Union City High School and attended UT Martin.
He is employed as an assistant manager at Walmart in Ripley.
The couple will exchange vows 4 p.m. June 19 at Abundant Life Church in Ripley.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
