Sewing class slated Posted: Monday, June 7, 2010 3:07 pm The Messenger, June 7, 2010 The Obion County Public Library will offer a “learn to sew” program for teens June 15 from 1-3 p.m. at the library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City. Jane Hale will teach a class on basic sewing techniques and participants will leave the session with a purse they have made using a sewing machine. The class is open to 12 teens from 13-18 years old. The fee is $8 and preregistration is open until Saturday. Sponsors of the class are Little General Stores and Friends of the Obion County Public Library group. |
