Rosie Dell Haggard, 76, of Union City died June 4, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with John Little Jr. and Jason Pate officiating, assisted by Dr. Melvin Poe. Burial followed in Beech Cemetery near Union City.
Pallbearers were David McElroy, Jamie Boykin, Russ Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Bobby James, Tim James, Robert Goodman and Richard Ams. Honorary pallbearers were members of Victory Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.
She was born April 16, 1934, in Obion County, daughter of the late Lillie Pearl (Pierce) and Boyd Thomas Raymer Sr. She married Stanley Haggard in 1954. He died in March 1961. She was a certified nursing assistant and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Dale Pate of Union City; two grandchildren and the spouse of one of them, Jennifer Pate of Union City and Jason and Melissa Pate of Walnut Ridge; and three sisters, Lillie England and Darlene Keene, both of Ridgely, and Virginia Little of Fort Worth, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and her sister-in-law, Boyd Thomas “Tommy” Raymer Jr. and Shirley Eugene and Ruth Raymer.
