Revenell Gatewood Olds

Press 6-3 – Mrs. Ravenell “Nell” Gatewood Olds, 90, of Palmersville, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her residence.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with Dr. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial was in Palmersville Cemetery.
Bobby Austin, Harry Austin, Glen Austin, Ray Harper, Roy Harper and Ronald Gatewood served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Olds was born in Weakley County, daughter of the late Genon and Gertie Gatewood. She was the widow of Frank Solomon Olds. She was a retired cook at Palmersville School and a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay Wilkinson of Dyersburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Gailya Olds of Palmersville; one sister, Geraldine Austin of Palmersville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
