Woman gets plea bargain in carport pinning death

TIPTONVILLE (AP) — A young woman has accepted a plea bargain in Tiptonville to charges of killing another woman by using a car to pin the victim to a carport wall.
Twenty-year-old Latandria “Rudy” Kimble of Ridgely pleaded guilty to reduced charges of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault. She received concurrent 10-year sentences and could be eligible for parole after serving 30 percent of that time.
Kimble had been indicted on charges of first-degree felony murder and attempted first-degree murder. She was accused of using a car to pin 24-year-old Andrea “Angel” Pierce to a carport wall March 2, 2008, in Ridgely. Pierce was killed.
According to The Dyers-burg State Gazette, Kimble and others had been fighting that day.
