Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Yates celebrate 50th anniversary

Because you have shared in their lives by your love and friendship, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of our parents, Bobby and Wanda Yates. The celebration will be held at Freeman’s Chapel in Martin, on Sunday, May 30 from 2-4 p.m.
They were married May 27, 1960, at Rev. Archer’s residence on Old Lake Road. The former Wanda Burress is the daughter of the late Omer and Sarah Burress of Union City. She is retired from University of Tennessee Martin after 35 years of service. Mr. Yates is the son of the late C.C. and Edith Yates of Union City. He worked in sales for many years.
He also worked at KT Distributors for 19 years and Excel Manufacturing for five years and is now retired.
They have two daughters and one son-in-law, Sonja and David Penick of Martin and Darlene Hatton of Jacksonville, Ark. They also have been blessed with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
All family and friends ae invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts, please.
