David Walker Chandler, 67, of Union City died 9:40 a.m. May 27, 2010, at his home.
There will be no funeral services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
He was born April 27, 1943, in Obion County, son of the late Jack and Nellie (Welch) Chandler. He married the former Sue Stafford Sept. 14, 1981. She survives. He had been a truck driver and had been the owner and operator of the former Chandler’s Pool Room in Union City. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and was a member of Reelfoot Bass Club and Hickman (Ky.) Country Club.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David Anthony and Tabitha Chandler of Newbern; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Dean Osborne of Jacksonville, N.C.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Betty Sue Chandler of Troy and Billy Jack and Doris Chandler of Clarksville; three grandchildren and their spouse, Tonya and Josh Long of Kura, Idaho, Aimee and Nate Denham of Somerset, Ky., and Garrett Chandler of Newbern; and four great-grandchildren, Sean Jones and Olivia Jones, both of Kura, and Emma Denham and Briley Denham, both of Somerset.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ruth Chandler; and two brothers, James Lee Chandler and Robert Chandler.
