Fish served
Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, located at 1304 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, will be selling fish plates that will include white beans, cole slaw and dessert for $6. Serving will begin at the church at 9 a.m. Saturday. Take-outs and eat-in will be available. The project is in support of the building fund.

Cafe to open
Exchange Street Church of Christ in Union City is taking its Soul Food Cafe on the road in June. The menu of fried fish, French fries, slaw, white beans, cornbread and dessert will be served at Graham Park in Union City at the pavilion next to the Babe Ruth Field and playground.
The bluegrass band Jargon will perform at the free event, as well, on Wednesday from 5:30-8 p.m.
There will be no delivery of meals in June, but the community is invited to attend.

F&F Day slated
Family and Friends Day will be celebrated  Sunday at 2 p.m. at Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church at 202 College St. in South Fulton. Karrisa Walker of God’s House of Restoration in Christiana will be the speaker.
Music will be provided by Dex and Divine Purpose of Murfreesboro.
Elder James Watford invites the community to attend.

Gospel concert set
This evening the The Tribute Quartet will be in concert at The People Place (Assemblies of God) at 728 Broadway in South Fulton.
“This Southern gospel group travels the nation singing the music they enjoy,” according to the Rev. Mike Glover. 
The event starts at 7 p.m. and all music fans are invited.
