| Briefly Top at Pop scramble
is a cluttered place Poplar Meadows Country Club held its weekly scramble Wednesday with the winning team shooting 8-under par.
The winning team, in a scorecard playoff, included Charles Denaburg, Phillip White, Bruce Moss, Bedford Dunavant, Brian Ferguson and Matt Sanner.
Also shooting 8-under par was the team of Terry Wiseman, Bruce Culver, Matt Russell, Randy Barnes, Mike Revell, Jeff Stone; and the team of Ron Cooper, Portis Tanner, Bart White, Wynn Burnett and Scott Critchlow.
The weekly scramble begins at 5:30 p.m. each week. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The fee includes dinner.
