|In a unanimous decision, funds were allotted to fix several problems that hit the City of Dresden’s water and sewer department during a storm in late April. |
On Wednesday afternoon, the City of Dresden Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in special session to address the repair and/or replacement of a motor center starter, a well motor and a lift station pump.
After a quick discussion and vote, the amount of $10,194.11 was placed into the water and sewer fund with a $1,000 insurance deductible to take care of the cost.
Broken down, this includes $5,194.11 for a motor control center starter from Vaughn Electric, $3,800 for well motor repair with an inspection fee of $132 if not repaired from Vaughn Electric and $1,200 for a lift station pump with an inspection fee of $135 if not repaired from Vaughn Electric.
