BREAKING NEWS: South Fulton softball team falls at TSSAA State Tournament
The South Fulton softball team lost to Chattanooga Grace 5-0 in the finals of the winner’s bracket of the TSSAA State Tournament tonight.
With the defeat, SF, which has clinched at least a program-tying best third place at the state tourney, falls to the finals of the loser’s bracket game.
The Devilettes will play defending champion Trinity Christian Academy Friday morning at 10 in an elimination game with a berth in the championship round and a date with Chattanooga Grace on the line.
The winner of the SF-TCA game would play CG at 5:30 in Game 1 of the title round on Friday. Game 2 of the championship is slated for Saturday (if necessary).
