Ruth May Pruitt Posted: Wednesday, May 26, 2010 5:02 pm Mrs. Ruth May Pruitt, 65, of Paris, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at her residence. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel, Dresden with Bro. Bob Copeland officiating. Burial was in Martin Memorial Gardens in Martin. Keith Pruitt, Darian Pruitt, Ricky Runions, Randy Runions, Byron Gallimore and Troy Wainscott served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Craig Thompson, Tyler Harrison and Todd Wainscott. Mrs. Pruitt was born Dec. 17, 1944, in McKenzie, daughter of the late Andrew and Brooksie Inez Blaylock Runions. She was a factory worker for General Motors, a housewife and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Gerald T. Pruitt of Paris; one daughter, Lisa Carol Eaton of Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Gerald Keith Pruitt of Lansing, Mich. and Darian Thomas Pruitt of Memphis; one sister, Faye Bowden of McKenzie; two brothers, Horace Ray Runions of Springville and Roy Franklin Runions of McKenzie; and seven grandchildren.
