Clara Estella Copeland, 94, of Fulton died 9:53 p.m. May 23, 2010, at her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Jim Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton’s Greenlea Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the hour of services.
She was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Cottage Grove, daughter of the late Ezra and Jane (Burnett) Wimberly. She was the widow of Clarence Riley Copeland and had lived in this area most of her life.
She had been a seamstress for the former Martin Manufacturing Co. in Martin and was a member of Harris Station United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, George  T. and Faye Copeland of Ocean Springs, Miss., Jerry and Ann Copeland of Sulligent, Ala., the Rev. Bill Copeland of Sidonia community, Robert Lee Copeland of Fulton and Clarence Copeland Jr. and Jeraldine Copeland of South Fulton; two daughters and her son-in-law, Diana Cunningham of Fulton and Pam and Jim Resenic of Colleyville, Texas; and 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Frank Copeland; two brothers, William Lee Stratton and Robert Dea Stratton; her sister, Beulah McClain; two granddaughters, Kathi Copeland and Misty Copeland; and two grandsons, Jerry Dale Copeland and William W. Copeland Jr.
