BREAKING NEWS: South Fulton defeats Forrest 5-2 in the Class A State Softball Tournament

The South Fulton softball team is 2-for-2 at Murfreesboro.
The Devilettes advanced to the finals of the winner’s bracket at the TSSAA Class A State Tournament with a 5-2 victory tonight over Forrest, last season’s runner-up and the 2008 champion.
With the victory, SF (34-10) has assured itself of at least a third-place place at the state tourney.
South Fulton plays the winner of tonight’s Chattanooga Grace/East Robertson game on Thursday at around 7 p.m. with a berth in the state championship game on the line.
