Consultant available this week

Local residents have an opportunity to get one-on-one business consulting from Denise Newton, Tennessee Small Business Development Center consultant.
Ms. Newton will be at the Obion County Industrial Training Center from 1-5 p.m. Thursday.
The consultations are one-on-one, confidential and free. Appointments may be made by contacting the Obion County Chamber of Commerce at 885-0211 or Ms. Newton directly at (731) 587-7333.
Ms. Newton recently joined the TSBDC after spending 16 years on Wall Street. Her experience includes financial statement and portfolio analysis, strategic planning and business development. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as a corporate/commercial lender for various commercial banks specializing in small business lending, structuring and financing.
She was born and raised in West Tennessee and attended Vanderbilt University, where she graduated with an economics degree, and University of Miami, where she obtained her master of business administration degree.
