Two Obion County students have been honored at Lipscomb University in Nashville for academic achievement during the spring semester.
Derek Lewis of Union City, an exercise science major, was named to the Provost’s List, while Clay Smith of Troy, a Spanish education and communication major, was named to the honor roll.
Both graduated from Obion County Central High School.
At the end of each semester at Lipscomb, students who make perfect grades for the semester while taking at least 12 credit hours are named to the Provost’s List. Students who achieve a grade average of 3.5 to 3.99 are named to the honor roll.
