Miss Kangelos to wed Mayben on July 24

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Erin Marie Kangelos of Union City and Daniel Keith Mayben of Montgomery, Ala., formerly of Southside, Ala., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Pamela Johnson Kangelos of Union City, formerly of Gadsden, Ala. Her grandparents are Edwina Kangelos and the late Jerry Kangelos of Union City and Ted and Marie Johnson of Gadsden and the late Mamie Hammond Johnson.
She graduated from Obion County Central High School in 2007 and is a junior pursuing a degree in management with a minor in fashion merchandising at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She plans to continue her college career in Montgomery, Ala., after the wedding.
The bride-elect is employed at JCPenney in Prattville, Ala., as a Division 8 supervisor. She was employed at JCPenney as a jewelry sales associate in Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of Vincent and Rosie Mayben of Southside, Ala. His grandparents are Rosie Gables of Gadsden and the late Joyce and Richard Mayben.
He is a 2003 graduate of Southside High School in Alabama.
He is employed as an emergency management analyst civilian contractor with the United States Air Force and is a member of the Air Force Reserve, stationed in Montgomery, Ala.
The couple will wed July 24 at 3 p.m. at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Rainbow City, Ala. Music will begin at 2:30.
A reception will begin at 4 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center in downtown Gadsden.
