South Fulton High School seniors to don caps and gowns Friday

Members of the Class of 2010 at South Fulton High School will receive their diplomas Friday night, with the ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the SFHS gym.
The graduates will enter to the music of “Pomp and Circumstance” and Mallory Ann Martin, class president, a Top Ten student, a Challenge Graduate and a Tennessee Scholar, will welcome those in attendance.
Kierra Faith Haley will read the Senior Poem and Paxton Sisson, a junior class representative, will conduct the presentation of flowers.
Valedictorian Sarah Nicole Gammon, who is a Top Ten student, a Challenge Graduate and a Tennessee Scholar, will give the High Honors Address and will share the podium for that important speech with salutatorian Katherine Renee “Katie” Bivens. Miss Bivens is also a Top Ten student, a Challenge Graduate, a Tennessee Scholar and the class historian.
Adam Stephens, principal, will give the commencement address and will join counselor Pam Burrow, Director of Schools David Huss and Obion County School Board members in the presentation of diplomas. Huss will also provide remarks and the pronouncement of graduates before the recessional, “Pomp and Circumstance.”
Junior class ushers will be C.J. Walker, Beau Rinker, Alex Gallien, Megan White, Blake Pilcher and Paxton Sisson.
Members of the Class of 2010 at SFHS include Justin Hunter Allen, Brittany Denise Benjamin (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate and class vice president), Joshua Thomas Bennett (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate and Tennessee Scholar), Charles Marshall Bettis III, Miss Bivens, Jessica Sue Blodgett, Amber Rae-Lynn Cheney, Jordan Paul Cherry (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate and Tennessee Scholar), Cody Lee Clark, Jonathan Davis Clouse, Sara Morgan Collier, Justin Ryan Cranford, Samuel Charles Curtis, Kayla Marie Davidson (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate and Tennessee Scholar), Tyler Scott Decker, William Garrett Edmison, Jennifer Madaline Sue Elliot, Brandon Lee Fout, Jared Logan Fowler, Dorothy Danielle Frields (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate, Tennessee Scholar and class reporter), Miss Gammon, Rebecca Marie Grogan, Miss Haley, Ryan Miles Hartley, Dane Alexander Haskins, Conner Andrew Hicks, Morgan Alyssa Hilton, Brittany Leigh-Anne Johnson, Miss Martin, Ashley Annette Massey, Morgan Elizabeth Maxwell, Dustin Wayne Neeley, Tyler Dewayne Nolan, Kaitlin Michelle Norris, Selena Faith O’Neill, Brandon Shipp, Ashley Lynn Smith (class secretary), Carly Bryce Smith (Top Ten and Challenge Graduate), Jeremy Seth Stepp, Britnee Raquel Sturgeon (Challenge Graduate, Tennessee Scholar and class sergeant at arms), Alicia Rene Taylor, Jessica Alexandra Jones Taylor, Caleb Eugene Turner, Ashlee Hannah Tynes (Top Ten, Challenge Graduate, Tennessee Scholar and class treasurer), Amber Elizabeth Wade, Laquest Ja’Ron Ware and Joel Anthony Williams.
Members of the SFHS Class of 2010 will celebrate Class Night Thursday at 7 p.m. in the school gym. The processional will be “Whenever You Remember” and Fowler will provide the welcome.
Special music, “The Graduation Song,” will be sung by Miss Collier, Miss Blodgett and Jessie Taylor.
Miss Benjamin and Miss Sturgeon will list the Class Who’s Who and Miss Tynes will conduct the presentation of gifts.
Honors will be noted by the principal, Mrs. Burrow and Brandi Cantrell.
A class video special presentation will be made by Miss Bivens and Miss Gammon and the class will join in singing the alma mater before the recessional, “Whenever You Remember,” is played.
Junior ushers will be Walker, Payton Swader, Hope Nabors and Sisson.
