Graduation exercises at Union City High School are planned for 8 p.m. Sunday at War Memorial Stadium on the campus. Tickets are being provided to members of the Class of 2010 and these tickets will be required for admission of all family and friends to graduation. In the event of inclement weather, graduation exercises will be moved to Union City Civic Auditorium. Because seating will be more limited there, fewer tickets will be provided for seating indoors but will still be required.
Those who do not have tickets for either of the locations will not be admitted.
In keeping with the wishes of the Class of 2010 to have a dignified and positive observance of their achievement, no one will be admitted to the graduation site after 8 p.m., when the gates will be closed. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive well before the 8 p.m. time and to have tickets to present. No late or un-ticketed entrance will be allowed so that graduation exercises may be carried out in the manner most respectful of the students.
