RECEIVE PAUL HARRIS FELLOW — The Martin Rotary Club recently honored (from left) Robert Wilton, Josh Moore and Harald Melson for receiving “Paul Harris Fellow.”
Rotary International is a worldwide civic organization that strives to make a difference throughout the world by donating time and money to causes such as polio eradication, clean water projects and world peace initiatives.  Rotary International makes a difference in local communities by working through local Rotary clubs, such as the Martin Rotary Club.
To support both their local and international efforts, Rotary International raises money through donations to the Rotary Foundation. Whenever a donation is made of $1,000 or more to Rotary International on behalf of a Rotary member, then that member is given the designation of “Paul Harris Fellow”, which is a reference to the founder of Rotary International almost a hundred years ago, Paul Harris.
The Martin Rotary Club recently honored three of its members for achieving this “Paul Harris Fellow” designation. Receiving the “Paul Harris Fellow” award for the first time was Josh Moore, for the third time was Harald Melson and for the fifth time was Robert Wilton.
