Gary J. Langlois, 66, of Hickman, Ky., died May 13, 2010, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky.
Services were set for 10:30 a.m. today at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with the Rev. Mark Lambert officiating. Burial was to follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be David Black, Bobby Reeves, Roy Wiseman, Gary Gruetin, Kenny Love, Randell Bruner, Bubba Johnson and Dusty Spillman.
He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and had received the Sea Service Medal, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Vietnam MUC Medal. He was a member of East Baptist Church in Hickman.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Sutton) Langlois; three sons, Brad Evans of Memphis, Shane Langlois of Atlanta and Jon Langlois of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Paula Smoley of Hickman and Michelle Turney of Memphis; his brother, Orvil Langlois; his sister, Joyce Bourden; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Eunice Langlois; and two brothers and his sister.
