UTM Softball Will Host Skills Camps
The University of Tennessee at Martin softball program will host two summer camps, June 1-4 and June 15-16 at Bettye Giles Softball Field on campus.
The day camp, June 1-4, is for ages 6-13 and will run from 9 a.m.-noon each day. The day camp is $75 per camper and includes a T-shirt and insurance coverage.
In addition, UT Martin will offer an advance hitting and pitching camp June 1-4, each afternoon from 2-4 p.m. The advanced hitting and pitching camp is also for campers 6-13 years of age only and cost $80.
Campers wishing to attend both the day camp and advanced session will have the opportunity to stay under the supervision of the camp staff between sessions, but must bring their own lunch.
Those campers also have the option to sign up for the full day camp package for a cost of $125, which includes a $30 price reduction to attend both. However, a student may attend either the advanced hitting or pitching or the regular day camp.
The second session of camp will be held June 15-16. This camp is for older players from age 14 through graduating high school seniors.
The camp will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and will include a full day of hitting, fielding, base running, etc. The cost of the camp is $125 and campers must bring a sack lunch. The fee includes a camp T-shirt and insurance coverage.
