Miss Chessor, Dawson plan May 29 wedding

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Kayla Leanne Chessor of Finley and Richard Lee Dawson of Halls are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kenny and Mary Chessor of Finley. Her grandparents are Johnny and Catherine Chessor and Lois Stover, all of Union City, and the late Earl Stover.
She is a 2005 of Halls High School and a 2008 graduate of Dyersburg State Community College. She plans to graduate from the University of Memphis in December. She is a financial aid counselor at Dyersburg State Community College.
The groom-elect is the son of Richard and Jean Dawson of Halls. His grandparents are Dorothy Midkiff of Ripley, the late Robert Midkiff and the late Richard and Peggy Dawson.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Union University in Jackson in 2007 and plans to receive his master’s degree there in July. He is a teacher at Halls Elementary School.
The couple will wed at 5 p.m. May 29 at Junction Church of God in Finley. Music will begin at 4:30.
A reception will be held there following the ceremony.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
