Completed arrangements are being announced for Laverne Kerney, 100, of Fulton, who died May 4, 2010, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with Bishop Perry Kerney officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton’s Greenlea Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Tramel, Harold Kerney, Vincent Kerney, Derek Allen Dickerson and Anthony Jones.
Friends may call at the church from noon until the hour of services Wednesday.
Rawls Funeral Home in South Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 9, 1910, in Fulton, daughter of the late Alfred and Erin (Hillard) Alexander. She was the widow of Will Allen Kerney and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Gordon of Triangle, Va., and Brenda Kerney of Fulton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Willie James and Jean Kerney of Chillicothe, Ohio, Joseph and Kathy Kerney of Riverdale, Ill., Harold and Barbara Kerney of Clinton, Iowa, and Perry and Rose Kerney of Orlando, Fla.; her stepdaughter, Frances Kerney of Union City; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by seven children and several brothers and sisters.
