The Hendrix College Department of Theatre Arts and Dance recently presented Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice in performances at the Cabe Theatre on the Hendrix College campus.
Rebekka Koch, daughter of Malcolm and Sandra Koch of Martin, participated as part of the costume and makeup crew. Rebekka is a sophomore German major.
Eurydice is an adaptation of the Orpheus Myth. The play re-imagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine.
Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice journeys to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. The play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.
