To The Editor:
Noted in the April 29th issue of The Messenger, an article stated that in a vote of 5-4, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of a cross on display in the Mojave Desert, placed there in honor and memory of World War I veterans.
In another article, U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb wants to do away with National Day of Prayer, April 30th, a 250-year of American History National Day.
The minister of the church I attend, David Bayer, has been preaching on our awareness of satan, or the devil, doing all it can to ruin America. Our country was built on “In God We Trust” and certain people who listen to Satan are doing everything they can to get America to turn away from God.
Satan and people like the above-mentioned Crabb are working very hard to put down our belief in God and the trust our forefathers had in God when America was formed.
We need to pray very hard and very often for our America.
