A Union City man has been charged with assault in connection with a disturbance early Monday morning at his residence.
Micheal Lee Flatt, 33, of 411 West Lee St., Union City, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Monday at his home and charged with aggravated assault, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Police had responded about 1:20 a.m. to some type of disturance at Flatt’s residence, where an altercation apparently escalated. During the incident, Flatt allegedly put a knife to the throat of Travis Lynn Fraley, 27, of 220 East Gibbs St., Union City, and threatened him, according to the report.
Flatt was also charged with vandalism and domestic violence in connection with other alleged incidents early Monday, police reported.
