Miss Hayes, Launer plan May 22 wedding

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Kirsten LeeAnne Hayes of Union City and Danny Ray Launer of Newbern are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Scottie Hayes of Samburg and Kevin and Darline Knop of Martin. She is the granddaughter of Pat Hayes and the late Walter Lee Hayes of Samburg and Willie Horn and the late Clarence “Red” Tittle of Lexington, Ala.
She graduated from Obion County Central High School in 2004. She attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville and Dyersberg State Community College. She is employed at Children’s Corner Day Care in Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of Terry and Jim Walmsley and the late Leo “Andy” Launer, all of Newbern. He is the grandson of William and Betty Garrett of Keokuk, Iowa, and Leo and Norma Launer of Warsaw, Ill. He graduated from Dyersberg High School in 1996. He is employed in maintenance at Tyson Foods in Union City.
The couple will wed at 5 p.m. May 22 at Kiwanis Park in Tiptonville.
A reception will follow.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
