Fulton man shot; police investigating

Union City police are investigating a shooting incident that apparently occurred late Sunday night in the area of the Lilac Street apartments.
Zackery Zaccheus Moody, 24, of 405 Wells Ave., Fulton, was injured in the incident, according to a Union City Police Department report.
The shooting remains under investigation today, but Union City Police Chief Joe Garner said a suspect has been identified.
The shooting apparently occurred sometime between 8 and 10 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report, which indicated police received a call from the staff at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin indicating Moody had been brought in and had been shot in the leg in Union City.
No other details were available at press time.
