|Sheriff’s Department makes drug arrests |

|A total of nine people have been levied with drug charges, according to press releases issued by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department this week. |
According to the first release, deputies arrested six people at 1934 Hwy. 431 after an alleged “shake and bake” meth lab was discovered on the property.
Those facing charges of manufacture of Schedule II and possession of methamphetamine include:
• Billy Joe Readenour, 52, of Hwy. 431 in Martin;
• Tammy Lou Readenour, 50, of Hwy. 431 in Martin;
• Jessica Spring Lynch, 22, of Union City;
• Michael Thomas Lynch, 19, of Union City;
• Dennis Wayne Cunningham, 35, of Dresden and
• Casey Travis Dudek, 23, of Union City.
A DEA-contracted clean up crew was called to the location to “clean up toxic chemicals,” according to the release.
Investigators with the WCSD reported the arrest of three people after the execution of two search warrants on Ryan Street in Martin Friday, April 16.
According to a press release, 21-year-old Naqualon Montra Gibson, aka “Q,” of 107 Ryan St. Apt. C in Martin faces charges of possession of marijuana, evading arrest, reckless driving and other traffic violations after he allegedly led deputies in a pursuit through Martin.
Gibson apparently attempted to evade officers when he drove into a field off of Peach Street in an effort to get around a train that was blocking the street.
Keith Rich Gibson, 40, of 107 Ryan St., Apt. A, was also arrested April 16 for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine with intent to resale.
Also taken into custody after execution of the search warrant was Sherita Denise Bledsoe, 27, of Union City. Bledsoe is charged with possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone pills), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Martin Police Department and 27th Judicial Special Response Team assisted the WCSD in the incident.
