Bethel University and the Renaissance Theatre program are staging the first-ever Camp Renaissance Onstage, a weeklong theatre experience in McKenzie.
Camp Renaissance onstage will bring campers, ages 12-18, together for a week of fun and focused learning as participants explore many aspects of theatre. Daily classes and amazing activities led by the Renaissance staff and students will guide each camper through instruction in basic skills and challenges in creativity.
“Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive experience for students who are interested in learning about or pursuing theatre,” said Brian Hill, the director of Renaissance Theatre.  “Our Renaissance students and leaders will make this an experience not to be missed.”
The camp begins June 6 and goes through June 11.
Students will participate in activities such as improv, musical theatre, choreography, a 10-minute play and more. Campers will reside in McDonald Hall for the week and dine in the campus cafeteria.
Tuition for camp is $200. All forms and deposits are due by May 29.
For more information about the camp or the registration process, contact the Renaissance Office at (731) 352-6414.
