Fulton meetings set

Fulton City Commission will meet in regular session at 6:30 tonight in the commission room at Fulton City Hall and in called session Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the old Hillview Clinic at 208 Highland Drive, now Fulton’s Training Center.
Both meetings are open to the public.
The agenda for tonight’s regular meeting includes an update from EDP director Eddie Crittendon, accepting a bid to purchase a used firetruck, accepting the resignation of Wiley Pinson Sr. as a part-time animal control officer, authorizing the city manager to advertise and hire a part-time animal control officer, authorizing the city manager to take bids on the Middle Road sidewalk project pending approval of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, second reading of an ordinance to amend a section pertaining to enforcement and impoundment of animals, discussion on repairing the water fountain in Pontotoc Park and discussion on demolishing the Fulton flower bed sign in the Riceville area. The commission will adjourn into a closed executive session to discuss personnel and pending litigation.
On the agenda for Tuesday night’s special session is the discussion of goals and objectives for the commission, which will then adjourn into a closed executive session to discuss personnel.
