Young students from across Obion County who participated in the Obion County Central High school after-school art classes provided by the OCCHS Art Club this year are being invited to select two or three of the best pieces they created in the classes and submit them for display at the upcoming 43rd annual OCCHS Art Show, which is set for May 9 from 2-4 p.m. and May 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the school.
Students who took one of the classes are encouraged to tag their work and bring it to OCCHS by May 5 to take part in the show. OCCHS Art Club members will mat the work and set it up for display. Work must be picked up after the show by May 12, according to a spokesman. For more information, call the art department at the school at 536-4688 and speak to teachers Suzanne Hill at extension 124 or Glen Marshall at extension 122.
