Dresden’s Wednesday afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club had 16 exuberant and anxious players ready for an afternoon of desirable, competitive game of bridge.
We certainly missed Reba Nell Brasfield, a tried and true dedicated bridge player. Reba Nell’s son, Duke Harris Brasfield, was in a car wreck last Friday and was killed immediately It was thought that he possibly had a heart attack, causing the accident. All the love and smypathy of her bridge friends go out to her and the family.
Egg and olive salad with crackers, a Colby cheese tray, bread and butter pickles, butter cookies and chocolat nut rownies were enjoyed.
Winners were 1st-Peg Mayo and Jo Glasgow, 2nd-Jack Bogue and Sharon Fields, 3rd-Freddye Oliver and Toni Pritchett and 4th-Sarah Pentecost and Tom Beard
Uncanny similarities in the lives of Abraham Lincoln and John Kennedy.
