According to an incident report issued by the Martin Police Department, officers were called to the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity house around 2:40 a.m. that day after an alleged altercation sent 23-year-old Jonathan Jonas to a local hospital.
The report cites 22-year-old William Dalton Smyth of Union City drove his 1997 GMC Yukon onto the volleyball court of the fraternity house and allegedly ran into Jonas.
Jonas sustained injury to his pelvic area and was transported by the ambulance service to a local hospital. Smyth is also accused of hitting a parked car at the fraternity house.
