Completed arrangements are being announced for Thomas Wayne “Tommy” Northam, 58, of Troy, who died April 15, 2010, at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Revs. Jerry Northam and Dewayne Green officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Obion.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 this evening.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Dawson, Oneal Baker, George Neblett, John Biggers, Jeff Crawford and Jeremy Nichols.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope or to the Pancreatic Cancer research fund.
He was born Oct. 5, 1951, in Gibson County, son of the late Freddie Lee Northam and the late Maggie Ellen (Edmaiston) Northam Moore. He married the former Jackie Henderson Nov. 5, 1976. She survives. He was a carpenter.
Survivors also include his son and daughter-in-law, Corey Wayne and Judy Northam of Troy; his daughter and son-in-law, Erica Lee (Northam) and Jack Williams of Troy; six grandchildren, Ashlyn Runions, Julianna Northam, Grant Smith, Mia Williams, Hope Williams and Isaac Williams, all of Troy; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Carolyn Moran of Union City, Linda and Edward Fulcher of Troy, Brenda and the Rev. Dewayne Green of Chattanooga, Sherry and Dave Ford of Newbern and Vickie and Tommy Stewart of Union City; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Barb Northam of Fairfield Glade, the Rev. Jerry and Ruthie Northam of Horn Lake, Miss., and Kenneth and Martha Northam, Larry and Elaine Northam and Terry and Vicky Northam, all of Troy; and his stepbrother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sue Moore of Dresden.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Winfred “Buddy” Moore.
