Quilts on display

The Ice House Gallery in Mayfield, Ky., is hosting an exhibit of more than 65 quilts made by the Piecemakers, a quilting club with members from Graves County, Ky.
The show, which will be on display until May 1, has something for everyone, including award-winning quilts, traditional patterns, original designs, miniatures and wearables.
The Ice House will host a special quilt week Monday through April 24. The gallery will have extended hours, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
During the week, the Piecemakers will host relaxed demonstrations where visitors to the gallery can watch and ask questions.
They include Monday: Labels with Roxanne Ferguson; Tuesday: Felted wool with Mary Helen Boyd; Wednesday: Hand work with Kim Dublin; and April 22: Appliqué embellishments with Fran McEachern.
